I have always wanted to do this with Diesel. We’ve always thought that he was a Plott Hound/Great Dane mix by his features but would love to know if that’s correct/find out all the breeds that make up our wonderful rescue boy. One really cool feature that comes free with your Embark test is the ability to find relatives with matching DNA. I feel like I would get SO excited if I was able to find out that Diesel’s brother, sister or cousin also did the Embark DNA test.
Do you ever wish you could put your dog’s face on everything? I would love to have stickers made of Diesel and Annie and put them on my laptop, tumblers and more just for fun! I found a cute Etsy Shop called StrayFaces with hundreds of five star reviews that creates them.

So, I actually ordered this sweatshirt the other day and I’m so excited for it to arrive! I have been a huge fan of the adorable dog brand Ripley and Rue since last year. This is one of their newest Pawsitivity sayings and I thought it was just adorable! I have many t-shirts and a sweatshirt from them and can say that the quality is very good!
4. Text Us When You’re Here Doormat
Okay, I don’t know about you, but I can relate to this doormat SO MUCH right now during these quarantine times. I’ve been trying to support restaurants when I can and the last thing I like to deal with is Diesel barking up a storm when the delivery driver arrives. When I saw this mat from an Etsy shop called The Doormatory I couldn’t help but laugh. It’s so funny and accurate!
Who wouldn’t want a pillow with their best furry friend on it? This Etsy shop, Pitex has tons of five star reviews and I already know many places where I would put these cute pillows around the house!
6. Friendship Collar Matching Set
Now this is seriously the cutest thing. I love wearing matching outfits with Diesel. I mean, how cute were these rain jacket photos? I wanted to frame all of them ha! A company called Friendship Collar makes matching collars and bracelets for you and your pup. They come in many designs and colors and are also available for cat and horse moms! With every purchase made, Friendship Collar also donates food to rescues.
7. Dog Mom of the Year + Home Is Where My Dog Is Art Prints
In addition to the sweatshirt I shared above from Ripley and Rue, they also created custom prints that you can print directly from your computer or you can have the artwork already printed on high-quality paper and shipped directly to you!
Chandler got me a pair of socks with Diesel’s face on them for Christmas and I thought they were too funny! I couldn’t find the exact brand that he used but I did find this cute Etsy shop called Zeek Creative Shop that makes custom dog socks in many different colors!
9. Crown & Paw Custom Pet Canvas
Another one of my favorite Christmas presents that Chandler got me last year was a custom pet canvas from Crown & Paw. If you’ve never heard of this company, they put your pet’s face on a renaissance portrait of a general, princess, admiral and more! If you have more than one pet you can put both of them on the same canvas. The one Chandler got me had Diesel and our cat Felix together and it was perfect ha!
10. Booster Bath Dog Washing Station
A little over a year ago, my mom purchased a Booster Bath Dog Washing Station and has LOVED it. I’ve even gone over to her house a few times to have bath time with the dogs in the backyard and I definitely want one of these. This is a portable dog washing station that you can easily store in your garage, shed or wherever you want. They have steps that you can attach to the station so your dog can easily walk up and they have a collar that you can use to keep your dog in place during bath time. I personally don’t use the collar part mainly because Diesel freaked out when we first did it – but he stood like a perfect angel without it (and he hates bath time if that shows anything about him).
11. Clean/Dirty Dogwasher Magnet
I laughed so much when I saw this magnet because it is so accurate of every dog mom. We all have our little helpers in the kitchen! My mom and I have always joked about inviting some people over for dinner, and then when it’s time to put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, we would instead let the dogs lick them and tell our guests to put them back in the cabinet (since they’d be “clean”) just to see their faces! Ha! This magnet also comes in many fun colors.

Of all of the dog mugs I’ve seen, this is by far the cutest one! This personalized dog mug by The Goodmorning Mug Co. gives you the opportunity to customize a sweet message “from” your pup on one side and a cute photo of them on the other. I think this would be the cutest gift that any dog mom would love to receive.
13. Barkbox or Superchewer Subscription
One of the cutest subscription boxes I’ve ever signed up for was Barkbox. They have the most clever and funny themes and are a true joy to receive! If your friend has a dog that doesn’t destroy their toys as easily, I recommend the Barkbox. If your friend has a stronger chewer, I recommend trying out the Superchewer subscription. We haven’t tried the Superchewer yet but it’s been on our list!
