4 Summer Dog Products To Keep Your Dog Cool This Summer
My dogs and I love the summer. With the longer days, there’s so more time us to enjoy our favorite summer activities like playing in our dog swimming pool, enjoying beautiful nice walks, making extra trips to Grandma’s house and so much more!
With the summer heat in full force, we have to make sure that we are keeping our dogs cool in the summer during all of our favorite summer dog activities. In this post, I’m sharing four awesome dog products to keep your dog cool this summer that both you and your dog will love!
1. Dog Swimming Pool
The first summer dog product that will keep your dog cool in the summer is a dog swimming pool! One of my favorite summer dog activities that my dogs and I have been enjoying since I was a little kid is playing in a dog swimming pool! My parents and I always used to get a plastic dog pool from Walmart, but this year we tried one of the tougher PVC foldable dog pools and our dogs have loved it! Dog swimming pools are a great way to cool down a dog and keep them cool all summer long!
I got the extra large Jasonwell foldable dog pool from Amazon based on the reviews and size options available. This kiddie pool for dogs isn’t advertised as a puncture proof dog pool, but it is designed really well. As long as you keep your dog’s nails trimmed, the odds of it staying together are much better!

2. Dog Splash Pad
The second summer dog product that will keep your dog cool in the summer is a dog splash pad! My parents dog Aiden has always loved playing in the hose and when I found this dog sprinkler pad for only $16, I knew I had to have it. Annie wasn’t quite sure what it was at first, but Remi and Aiden immediately went to it and started going after the water that was shooting up!
Before I even plugged in the hose, Remi actually started rolling all over the mat. She was already so excited. Ha! This dog splash pad is super easy to use and can be enjoyed by the whole family.
To use: simply plug in the hose at the attachment point, turn on your hose, and the outer rim will fill up first. Once that part is filled up, the water will start to shoot up. How high your hose is turned up determines how high the water will shoot up out of the dog splash pad.
Their faces crack me up here! Dog action shots are always hilarious!
3. Highwave Growler Dog Water Bottle
The third summer dog product that will keep your dog cool in the summer is the Highwave Dog Water Bottle. I purchased the Highwave Growler AutoDogMug dog travel water bottle last year and I literally take it everywhere with me: dog parks, long walks, the beach, etc.! In my opinion, this is by far the best dog water bottle out there.
Not only is this portable dog water bottle great for dogs, it’s also great for the environment! This eco-friendly dog product helps prevent water waste by allowing all excess water to flow back into the bottle after your dog has enjoyed what they need. Everything is controlled by a small latch at the top of the dog drinking bottle! The Highwave dog travel water bottle is available in many sizes, and I highly recommend it.

4. Suitical Dry Cooling Vest
The last summer dog product that will keep your dog cool in the summer is the Suitical Dry Cooling Vest. Now I have to tell you guys, this product is incredible! I’ve been a huge fan of Suitical, ever since I found their recovery suit for dogs for Annie’s post-spay surgery recovery.
