BeautyCounter Review

Hey everyone!

I hope all of you are having a wonderful week so far. 🙂 Today I am sharing a new beauty product line called BeautyCounter that my coworker, Jenn introduced to me. Growing up, I’ve never really been into make-up, or anything of that sort. I do, however, like to spend money on hair, lip care and facial products.

Something I didn’t know, is that there are actually a TON of ingredients in beauty products that you should never be putting on your skin! And I mean NEVER! You should never have to look at the label of something that should be safe for you. Below is a two minute video on who BeautyCounter is. I highly recommend everyone watch it!

Now, I want you to find your favorite beauty product that you use every single day. Look at the label. What do you see? A list of ingredients that you don’t recognize perhaps? The link below is a database by the Environmental Working Group that tests all of the products that are on the market and rates them based on their ingredients and potential hazards. It even takes an extra step by dividing everything into categories for Cancer, Allergies, Fertility Issues and other concerns.

BeautyCounter has created a “Never List” that is on the back of every consultant’s business card. This list contains the top chemicals that you should NEVER have in any of your products.

I was able to test out their Nourishing Line which is exactly what I would have chosen from their products. I have always suffered from dry skin on my hands and I have a bad habit of biting my lip. If I had to name my top products from the line (even though they all are absolutely amazing), I would recommend their Enrich Body Butter in Citrus Mimosa and their Lip Conditioner in Peppermint

Let’s start with the body butter! When I try lotions or body butters, I like to have them on for a little while and then wash my hands to see if everything completely disappears. I put this body butter on in the evening, washed my hands a few times, and my hands were still so soft and supple the entire next day. I couldn’t believe it! If you have dry skin like me, I highly recommend trying this. You will be amazed by the results!

Now, for the lip conditioner! I have tried so many lip balms in my life, and yes, a few have worked out well. However, BeautyCounter’s Lip Conditioner surpassed all of them! My lips felt so smooth and soft after just one use! If you’re a (regretful) lip biter like myself, haha, or if your lips crack and get dried out from the weather, this lip conditioner is for you! The container may look small, but it doesn’t take much to make a huge impact. In other words, this should last a decent amount of time!

I hope you try out the entire Nourishing Line and find what you love.
