This may sound cheesy, but I think you’re grate. Sorry, I couldn’t resist! Today’s blog post features the BEST food truck in Jacksonville, FL in my opinion: The Happy Grilled Cheese! I love supporting local businesses because they are usually some of the most unique and creative restaurants, boutiques, etc. out there!
The Happy Grilled Cheese food truck has been around for five and a half years and they were within the first 10-15 food trucks to open in Jacksonville. They opened a restaurant a year ago in downtown Jacksonville and have loved all of the support they have gotten since their opening. The restaurant is open Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm and if you’re wanting to find where their food truck is, they post their schedule weekly on their social media!

The Happy Grilled Cheese doesn’t have just basic grilled cheese sandwiches though. Oh no, they have one-of-a-kind creations that will make your taste buds soar! Take a peek at their menu below:
If I had to pick my top two sandwiches from their menu, it would easily be their Caprese Melt and the California Melt. Here’s what’s on each:
Caprese Melt: mozzarella, tomato, pesto, and red onion
California Melt: three cheeses, turkey, bacon, tomato, and avocado.
Even though you can’t go wrong with anything, those are my go-to sandwiches!
You can also get your sandwich served with a handful of tasty sides:
- French fries
- Homemade Mac & Cheese (I mean the more cheese the better right?!)
- Homemade Tomato Soup (dip size or bowl)
- Coleslaw
- Homemade kettle style BBQ chips

The Happy Grilled Cheese is the best place to take your family, friends, coworkers, and pretty much anyone. It’s fun, delicious, and it’s run by some pretty awesome people!
