Mantra Bonnet Horse Bonnet Review

Eyes forward, chin up! Horseback riding is a difficult sport. One things my trainer always says is that if it were easy, everyone would do it. All equestrians know that this sport requires mental and physical discipline and that we have good and bad days. 

One thing I saw recently is that you can always tell how your horse is feeling by their ears. If you’re already glancing down to see how they’re feeling from time to time, you might as well have some motivation to see while you’re riding too right? A fellow blogger, Giulia, also known as @theeqwestrian introduced her own line of horse bonnets this year called Mantra Bonnets and I loved them the second I saw them!  

Mantra Bonnets currently offer four pre-made bonnets and two custom bonnets. The four pre-made bonnet options are:

• Breathe Bonnet – This bonnet is grey and has the saying: “Breathe Deep, Just Ride.”
•  Jump Bonnet – This bonnet is hunter green (Featured in my photos) and has the saying: “Eyes Forward, Chin Up.”
•  Ride Bonnet – This bonnet is navy blue and has the saying: “Eyes Up, Heels Down.”
•  Show Bonnet – This bonnet is black and has the saying: “Eyes On, The Prize.”

The two custom bonnets come in short or long sizes with varying color combos for each. You can also customize your bonnet for a horse, cob, or pony size! All bonnets are cotton with lycra ears, are printed and embroidered in the USA, and are cruelty free!

If you do choose to get a cob or pony size bonnet, just note that they run small! 

What I love most about these bonnets is that they are so reasonably priced! Many bonnets start at $85. Mantra Bonnets’ pre-made bonnets (except the longer show bonnet) are all $48! The custom bonnets are also reasonably priced. The custom short bonnet is $58 and the custom long bonnet is $78. 

These bonnets are also so well made. With their perfectly stitched design and delicate embroidery, these bonnets are perfect for a lesson, show, and they keep the flies away!
