My Favorite Dog Training Treats

Happy Thursday everyone!

Last night at Diesel’s advanced training class at Petsmart he learned how to stand and stay, back up and how to deal with loud noises. Of course he did really well! 🙂 After class I had to get some more training treats since we were running low and I am excited to share my favorite ones with all of you.

Both of these treats can be found at your local Petsmart. The first treats (on the left) are True Chews Premium Jerky Cuts. True Chews comes in a variety of flavors. The two that Diesel has tried and liked are the duck flavor and chicken flavor. These treats are 100% natural, made in the USA and do not contain wheat, soy, animal by-products, artificial flavors & preservatives. You do have to use these treats up within 30 days after opening or else they will go bad. However, if you’re doing a ton of training like us, you’re good to go!

The second treats (on the right) are Blue Buffalo’s Blue Bits Soft-Moist Training Treats . Diesel absolutely LOVES the chicken flavor! Similar to True Chews treats, these treats contain no chicken or poultry by-product meals, corn, wheat, soy, artificial colors & flavors. 

These treats also contain Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids for healthy skin, DHA for cognitive development and of course the best quality chicken! 

Diesel does have other treats at home, however we ONLY use these training treats at Petsmart and when we are practicing at home. By doing this, he knows that he only gets those specific treats when he’s learning. 

As you can tell, he loves them!
