New Horse Rider Series | Meet Brandy Introduction
Hey there everyone!
If you follow me on Instagram, then hopefully you saw some behind the scenes footage of my new series that launches TODAY! First off, I am so thrilled to start this new series. For those of you who do/don’t know, I have loved horses my whole life. When I was little I would ask my mom all the time if we could get a horse and she would tell me that it wouldn’t fit in the backyard. When I tried to convince her that we had enough land she would tell me the neighborhood wouldn’t allow it. As a kid I was so frustrated but as an adult I know she was right. Since anything related to horses was also so expensive, I was never really able to learn how to ride like I always wanted to.
It wasn’t until January of this year that I finally started riding. For Christmas, Chandler bought me a month’s worth of lessons and since then I’ve been hooked (shocker) haha! I go out every weekend/chance that I can. Even on days that I don’t ride, I just love helping out there. I clean stalls, groom horses, and help with anything else that I can just so I can learn as much about horses as possible. The goal is to have one of my own one day and I’m hoping it’s sooner rather than later!
Brandy is a 13 year old Quarter Horse and is the beginner school horse at the barn. She’s really laid back and her and I actually have a lot in common:
- We both can be stubborn at times
- We both sweat A LOT
- We both have big butts haha
