Weekly Round Up
HAPPY FRIDAY!
How was everyone’s week? I am SO excited that it’s finally the weekend. Pretty sure I say that every Friday though haha! Today I wanted to switch it up a little and do a Friday introduction and share some facts about myself before I share my weekly round up post.
1. I am a social media marketer. I started doing natural social (social media without any paid support) and now I work on the paid side, creating and managing all of our brand’s paid social media advertisements. This includes Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest! I love who I work with and am eager to see what the future has in store.
2. I have two cats, Oscar and Felix. A few weeks ago, I did an Instagram poll asking if you all would like to see more about my cats and you said yes! Oscar and Felix are brothers and I have had them since they were little. Believe it or not, they are 12 going on 13 years old! How crazy is that?! Besides Diesel, they are my pride and joy and are my original fur children. I love them so much and I plan on sharing some content soon featuring them!
3. My dog has more friends that I do. I wanted to share this one because it’s true and hilarious. Last November, we threw Diesel a birthday party since he turned one year old and I’m not even kidding when I say ALL of his friends (for the most part) came. When I say his friends came, I mean literally over 20 dogs and their owners came AND THEY BROUGHT PRESENTS!!! LIKE WHAT?! I didn’t even ask anyone to bring presents. I just wanted Diesel to have a great time playing with his friends for a few hours (so that he would fall asleep for the rest of the night haha) and be happy. But yeah, his friends came, he got presents (and cards), and him and all of his fur-iends got some of the birthday cake that I bought for him. Pretty sure his one birthday is better than my last five!
4. Most of my family on my mom’s side lives in Germany. In 2014 I did a study abroad to Germany and it was the best experience of my life. I got to meet and visit with so many family members and I got to hop over the pond to England and see some of my other cousins as well. I also took two years of German in college (I’m a bit rusty now though and need to practice haha). My mom loves it because she can speak German and when I come home we make fun of my dad in German while he’s right there in front of us and it’s hilarious. For us. 🙂
5. Last but not least, I love ketchup. I’m sharing this last fact for my coworkers who know how much I love ketchup. I actually keep ketchup packets in one of my desk drawers at work so that I always have some with me for food. One of my coworkers actually went out of her way to get the really good stuff, a.k.a. the ketchup with no high fructose corn syrup and organic. When she brought it in I was like “oh my gosh you got me ketchup” and she was like “actually I got this for the department.” So I said, “so for me then?” 🙂 I know it’s weird, but we all have our quirks!

Food:
I am a HUGE fan of Morning Lavender and their girl boss Kim Le. She recently opened up her second location and this one includes a cafe!!! I really wish this would come to Florida so I can enjoy it! If you’re in the area, definitely go visit the new cafe and store location!

Earlier this week I heard that the Spice Girls are NOT going on tour and I was crushed. BUT, I just read on Cosmo that most of the girls have signed contracts for a tour. So…I guess we’ll see? Read more below!

Who else has been watching the Olympics?! Well, Chandler and I don’t have cable (#hulu), but we have been keeping up. My favorite thing so far was Shaun White winning the gold with an AMAZING run. If you haven’t seen it, click the link below.
