Weekly Round Up
Happy Friday!!!
Can anyone else believe that there are only three days left until Christmas?! Like WHAT?! ? Luckily I pretty much finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. I only have one gift left to buy, but it’s a super easy one and I already know where I’m going to get it from!
Before I go into this week’s articles, I wanted to share a pro tip from my mom. My mom is always done with her Christmas shopping by like August! It’s crazy. Her suggestion is to put money aside each month ($10, $20, etc.). By the time Christmas comes around, you will already have your Christmas shopping money and whatever you have is what you have. No if’s, and’s or but’s!. Not only does this help you to not go crazy on gifts at the end of the year, it also keeps you in check with your budget. I’m definitely going to try this next year!
Now, for this week’s round up! There have been a TON of great articles this week. It’s always so hard to pick!
Decor:
Who else is not good at wrapping? ? (They really should have an emoji with a girl lifting both hands up. I mean this one works, ? but I look like I’m praising and that’s not really what I’m going for haha). Any who, like I said, I’m not good at wrapping, and I love any type of DIY on how to improve my skills. Sarah, from Thrifty Decor Chick shared a great DIY on how to make large Christmas bows! These can be put on presents, garland, and more. By the way, you should check out her most recent blog post of her home. Her decor is on point ya’ll!!!

Besides me, who else LOVES getting a real Christmas tree very year? The smell alone makes my day better. However, I also have a few Christmas tree candles all throughout the house because I can’t get enough of that amazing smell. For those of you who have artificial trees or just love the smell of Christmas like I do, then this next blog post is for you! Jess from J. Cathell shared a great DIY for a Christmas home aroma. I can’t wait to try this!

I love mason jars. They can be used for pretty much anything: food storage, organization and even decor! This week I saw the cutest mason jar DIY from Marianna Mäkelä. She created snowy mason jar fairy lights! These would be perfect decor accents for around the house, and an adorable project for the kids!
