Weekly Round Up

Happy Friday beauties!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic week. I’ve been stressing lately about how fast December, and the holiday season in general, is going. But, I’m going to try and take a step back (breathe haha) and really enjoy it like I always do. There is still so much time left which is what I should be focusing on!

Last week someone reached out and told me that my weekly round up posts are their favorite and that made my whole day! I’m really happy that I can share content that everyone loves and I love connecting my followers to other amazing content creators!

Travel:

I have never been on a winter vacation before. I’ve visited North Carolina after Christmas before and it was cold but not like snowing cold. So any tips and helpful hints like this are always appreciated because I would like to make a winter trip in 2018! Sequins and Things shared a great, detailed post on everything she recommends bringing with you on your trip up North.

Last week I shared photos from a gorgeous Christmas market and this week I’ve found another! Stephanie Sterjovski shared the most beautiful photos and she even included a video from her Vlogmas series (it’s beyond cute). This really made me want to go to Canada!

Life/Tutorials:

The first article here actually inspired what I said at the beginning of this post. I really do want to try and slow things down and actually enjoy my favorite month of the year. Brighton, from Brighton The Day shared some great relaxing activities that will help keep everyone sane during the craziest time of the year.

My first investment as a blogger was a nice camera, however, I haven’t had a ton of time to learn how to really use it. I loved that Julia from Gal Meets Glam shared a photography for beginner’s post! It was really insightful and I can’t wait to play with my camera more!

Decor:

I love Sweet Teal Blog! Jenny, a fellow Florida blogger, is so creative and always has the best DIY projects. This week she shared 10 DIY Winter decorations that are really fun. Even if you’ve already decorated for the holidays, one more decoration wouldn’t hurt. I mean, the more the merrier right?
-See what I did there. 🙂

I have been finding a ton of Christmas themed food lately, but I finally stumbled upon some cute holiday themed drinks. Elsie and Emma from A Beautiful Mess shared the most fun Santa shot ever! I have never seen anything like this and I definitely think it is a must-have for parties!

Another cute cocktail was found from How Sweet Treats! A margarita is already my favorite alcoholic beverage, so of course I had to share this holiday themed one. Jessica called this one a mistletoe margarita – how cute is that!

For those of us trying to stay as healthy as possible during this holidays, I have found the solution to the cookie cravings! While I would never say to not enjoy regular cookies (my favorite are the holiday Pillsbury sugar cookies #YASSS), there’s always a healthy option to have ready to go for when those cravings do come around. Tone It Up shared some great recipes on their site that everyone will love!
