Woofsie: 50+ Enrichment Ideas For Dogs
For anyone reading this that has been following me for quite some time, you know that I’m always coming up with new dog enrichment activities and ideas to do with my pups. But, like anyone else, I oftentimes get in a routine of doing the same things repeatedly solely because it’s convenient.
I’ve done so many different enrichment activities with my dogs, that I also sometimes forget the things that I’ve done so that I can switch it up. When I went to the Global Pet Expo this year (2025) one of the new pet brands exhibiting was Woofsie. I checked out their brand in advance and thought, holy crap, this is such a fantastic idea. I also thought, man I wish I thought of that, ha!
If you’ve ever wanted a complete list of fun dog enrichment activities, boredom busters for dogs and just fun things to do with your dog at home, you’re going to absolutely love this product!

What Is Dog Enrichment?
Before I share exactly what Woofsie is, I have to share what it’s for in case there’s any awesome dog enrichment newbies here (welcome to the most pawesome club there is by the way!).
Dog enrichment is when you provide activities for your dog that tap into their natural instincts. I like to summarize it and say: it’s how you let your dog be a dog! There are five different types of enrichment for dogs:
- Social
- This type of enrichment might seem like the most obvious because of it’s name, but it’s so much more than just social interactions with people and other dogs. It’s also interactions with other animals and objects which in turn build your dog’s confidence and teach them that certain situations are positive and not scary. You can do this by going to the beach, a pet store, visiting your neighbors, and more.
- Nutritional
- One of my favorite dog enrichment activities by far! This type of enrichment taps into foraging and a dog’s natural instincts to find their food through problem solving. My favorite nutritional dog enrichment ideas include snuffle mats (check out my DIY Dog Snuffle Mat tutorial), dog puzzles, and more!
- Occupational
- If you have a working breed or a dog that loves to be doing something, this type of enrichment will help your dog so much! Examples of this are dog training, dog sports like agility, dock diving, herding (great for my Aussies and Border Collies!) and more.
- Sensory
- You ever watch your dog just sit outside and enjoy the environment? That’s sensory enrichment! People watching, looking at wildlife through a window, and more are all great examples of this.
- Physical
- Our pups love staying active! You can easily add physical enrichment by playing fetch, going on runs with your dog, or my personal favorite, K9 Fitness! Check out my K9 Fitness Section and my different social channels to see tons of information and helpful videos on dog fitness and the many benefits to keep your dog strong and happy!
Woofsie Dog Enrichment Activities Features
Okay, now let’s get into what Woofsie is! Woofsie is essentially a dog enrichment ideas deck of cards (hello all my game night lovers!). Like a regular deck of cards, there are 52 cards included with 52 different dog enrichment activities and ideas that you can do with your dog.
Every single card has information on both sides. One side has the name of the activity with a QR code that when scanned, will take you to a video tutorial that takes you step-by-step of how to do the chosen dog enrichment game!
The other side of the card has the text instructions of how to play the game. So whether you prefer to read through it or are a visual learner like myself, you have options!

Dog Enrichment Idea 1
Now I thought it’d be fun to share some dog enrichment activities and game examples that you can do with the Woofsie dog enrichment activities pack! The first game is a classic scenting game for dogs, the muffin tin game!
For this game, all you need is a muffin tin of any size, some tennis balls or a few smaller dog toys and your dog’s food or treats!
Step 1: Fill your muffin tin with your dog’s food or treats.
Step 2: Cover each hole with a toy.

Dog Enrichment Idea 2
The next dog enrichment idea from the Woofsie dog enrichment activities pack is the Stuff A Cup game! For this boredom buster for dogs, all you need are some cups (use something you don’t mind getting dirty/ruined, ha and avoid glass), your dog’s food or treats and some toys!
Step 1: Grab a cup and fill with a few pieces of your dog’s food or treats.
Step 2: Stuff the cup with your dog’s toys. I used some of my ZippyPaws burrow toys because they fit the cup perfectly and made it more challenging for my dogs to get out!

By the way, in addition to Woofsie’s dog enrichment ideas pack, they also have their Pizza Snack Mat which is a 2-in-1 dog lick mat and slow feeder dog bowl which you know I’m here for! Since each side has different depths and slightly varying designs, it creates different challenges while also providing relaxation for your dog!
