4 Must-Have Dog Products From Carlson Pet Products
I have loved partnering with Carlson Pet Products to share so many different dog products that help aid in training, comfort and most importantly, fun! In this post I’m sharing my 4 must-have dog products from Carlson Pet Products that you’re going to love!
1. Large Double Door Dog Crate
I love Carlson Pet Product’s dog crates because they are light-weight compared to some, compact and well-made. The crate featured below is Carlson Pet Product’s Large Double Door Dog Crate.
I personally favor double door dog crates over dog crates with just one entry because of one main reason: traveling! If you plan to take your dog in their crate on trips, having two access points to your dog can be extremely helpful, especially when surrounded by other bags (depending on the trip!).
What I also love about this dog crate is that it comes with a divider to aid in puppy growth. In my How To Crate Train A Puppy Blog Post, I talk about how you want to purchase a crate that will be the size of your dog once fully grown but you don’t want to give them the entire space at first. Cue the divider! A divider allows you to section off the amount of the crate that you want them to have and not have, preventing unwanted potty accidents!
This specific dog crate is available in the following sizes: small, medium, intermediate, large and extra-large. The large size is perfect for Annie. Diesel fits in the large too, but if I got a second crate, I’d probably get the extra large one for him just to give him a tad bit more room.
2. Extra Tall Dog Gate
One of my favorite dog products to this day is our Carlson Pet Products Extra Tall Dog Gate. I chose the extra tall gate specifically because of Diesel’s height and because it had a little cat door for Felix. The extra tall gate fits perfectly in every doorway in our apartment with the help of the extender that comes with it.
Having a dog gate is great for many reasons:
- It is a great training tool
- Provides separation/a break from other animals in your home
- Prevents unwanted messes/destruction in specific rooms of the home

3. Elevated Dog Bed
If you love spending time outdoors with your dog, then you have to get one of Carlson Pet Product’s Elevated Dog Beds! I’ve seen many people use these beds on camping trips, but until we can do that, our dogs enjoy their elevated dog beds on our porch! Diesel and Annie both love sitting on the porch while I water my plants or enjoy a nice meal in the morning or night.

No matter what you call them, these dog beds are made of a durable canvas material and are easy to wipe off all dirt and mud that might make it’s way from your dog’s outdoor adventure! 4. Fleece Crate Pad
Last but not least is Carlson Pet Products Fleece Crate Pad. These dog beds are made from a soft cotton and polyester fleece that features a comfy border and are sized to match the size of their dog crates (i.e. their large fleece crate pad fits perfectly in our large double door dog crate!).
Even though these are designed specifically for your dogs crate, here are 3 ways your dog can enjoy their fleece :crate pad
- Inside your dog’s crate as the intentional crate pad.
- Just be sure to watch them with it. My dogs destroy anything inside their crate so ours doesn’t go here ha!
- On top of their elevated dog bed for additional comfort.
- I wouldn’t add this if you planning on putting their elevated dog bed near a very dirty area. Now, we did accidentally spill coffee on it and after washing it right away, it “unofficially” passed the spill test ha!
- On the ground for a cool, lightweight feel.
- If the fleece crate pad ends up on the floor, Diesel and Annie are instantly on it. They just love it!
