5+ Cat Mom Gifts & Christmas Gifts For Your Cat
Meowy Christmas everyone! Man, that was fun to type, ha! I’m so excited to have cats in our home again. It just wouldn’t be Christmas without keeping the cats out of the tree now would it? Ha! Speaking of Christmas, I am so excited that this year I’m able to get Christmas gifts for my dogs and my cats! If you’re wondering, “what can I get my cat this year for Christmas?” or have a fellow cat lover that you’re shopping for, you’re going to love this post.
In this post you will find 5+ cat mom gifts & Christmas gifts for your cat featuring some of my favorite brands I’ve reviewed this year + ones that I haven’t, but absolutely love and have at home! I have several price points including cat Christmas gifts under $25 all the way up to luxury cat gifts under $750 (smart cat litter box).
Let’s start with the cat Christmas gifts under $25 category and see what ideas there are!
Christmas Gifts For Cats Under $25
BigMouth Pets
The first Christmas gift idea for your cats in the under $25 category is from one of my favorite brands BigMouth Pets. Now, if you’re a cat and dog household like me, make sure to check out my post: 15+ Christmas Gifts For Dogs and Dog Owners to get tons of awesome gift ideas, including some hilarious dog Christmas gifts from BigMouth!
Now, back to our feline friends! BigMouth recently launched elevated ceramic cat bowls in three fun and hilarious designs. They have the “Out of this world” elevated cat bowl with a cow on it (it’s giving Wizard of Oz/Twister vibes, ha!), the “Somewhere over the rainbow” elevated cat food bowl and my personal favorite because it’s adorable and funny, the “Shroom” elevated cat food bowl. By the way, the Shroom elevated cat food bowl is also big enough to be the perfect elevated single dog bowl for many smaller dog breeds!
P.S. Every cat is different, but there are some benefits of using raised cat bowls like:
- Preventing vomiting & other digestive problems by slowing down your cat while eating
- Providing joint support for their neck and back (not reaching down to eat)
- Preventing spillage by keeping the food inside their bowls with raised edges
Something I couldn’t help but share too, is that while we were shooting these photos with Butler, I had the dog toilet water bowl next to the tree and he thought it was absolutely fascinating. So, as it turns out, in addition to BigMouth pets’ fun elevated cat bowls, your cat might also love The Toilet Water Dish, ha!

Travel Cat Harness & Travel Cat Portable Cat Scratcher
The second cat Christmas gift idea is a Travel Cat harness! When we adopted our ginger cat Colonel Mustard, I knew I wanted to learn how to harness train a cat so I could take him on so many cool cat backpacking adventures! Our favorite brand for cat harnesses is Travel Cat!
Travel Cat has two different cat harnesses, but our current favorite is the Travel Cat True Adventurer cat harness. It’s available in many colors and prints, four sizes (XS for kittens up to L) and even comes with a leash! Colonel currently has it in red, emerald and the 90’s cat and Butler just got his very first one in the 90’s cat so he can match his brother!
In addition to Travel Cat’s harnesses, they also have many accessories that are under $25 as well including one of our favorites, their Portable Cat cardboard scratcher. I keep this in my office for my cats and Butler absolutely loves it. Every time he comes in my office he has to use it, ha!
Christmas Gifts For Cats Under $50
Catit Pixi Cat Fountain
The first cat Christmas gift idea under $50 is the Catit Pixi Fountain! I had been eyeing this cat water fountain for so long and decided to finally get it a few months ago. I learned years ago that cats like water fountains and running water, so I wanted to find the quietest cat water fountain to keep in my office for Colonel Mustard and Butler!
They absolutely love the Pixi cat fountain. The set up for this cat water fountain is pretty easy. It comes with a booklet that has a link for video instructions, and if you follow that, you’re golden! It comes in a few colors and they just launched a “smart” cat water fountain version of it as well, but if I’m being honest, I feel like there’s nothing super special about the “smart” version, so I’d just get the regular option and save $60+!
Travel Cat Meowbile Home
There’s another awesome Travel Cat accessory that makes a great Christmas gift for your cat. The Meowbile home has become one of Butler’s favorite places to curl up. Colonel Mustard is weird and doesn’t like comfy beds, but Butler is all for them!
What’s cool about this portable cat bed is that it can be popped open to be more of a cave style cat bed and then you can take the cushion out, fold it down, and create a regular cat bed with the cushion on top. The versatility of this cat bed makes it perfect to bring when traveling!
Simply Paws Design Purrfectly Clean Paws Cat Litter Box Ramp
The last cat Christmas gift idea under $50 is a really cool one from Simply Paws Design. I met the family who created the Simply Paws Design Purrfectly Clean Paws® cat litter box ramp at the Global Pet Expo in March 2023 and did an entire review of their product (I share tons of info like how to use it with MANY litter box styles!).
You can read the post here: Simply Paws Design Cat Litter Box Ramp
This product is priced at $31.99 and I thought what they had created was so smart, especially since it was not only a great cat mobility aid for senior cats but for any cats who need help getting into their litter box. If you’ve also ever wondered how to keep cat litter off the floor or how to keep cat litter from tracking, this litter box ramp features corrugated cardboard, so not only does it turn into a cat scratcher ramp, but it also catches all the litter from your cats paws as they use it so you can put it back in your box.
Christmas Gifts For Cats Under $150
Travel Cat Backpacks
I think you can tell from this post that I love Travel Cat, ha! They just have so many awesome cat mom gifts and Christmas gifts for cats! In addition to Travel Cat’s harnesses and accessories, they are most known for their awesome cat backpacks and I do believe they make the best cat backpack carriers!
I actually did a review of their Navigator cat backpack that has tons of helpful information. You can read the full post here: The Navigator Cat Backpack Carrier Review.
I currently have the Navigator Cat Backpack and we just got the Fat Cat Backpack! I’ve always been the dog mom who takes her pups everywhere, and when we got cats again, I really wanted to bring them along too, especially when we take the dogs on the trails. The quality of Travel Cat’s large cat backpacks completely surpass anything you will see on Amazon or anywhere else and they make the perfect cat backpacks for hiking!
Their backpacks range from $119 (The Fat Cat Backpack) to $149 (The Navigator Cat Backpack).
Christmas Gifts For Cats Under $750
Leo’s Loo Too Automatic Smart Cat Litter Box
The last cat mom gift/Christmas gift for your cat is one of my all-time favorites, the Leo’s Loo Too from Casa Leo (formally Smarty Pear if you knew them as that before their rebrand). Now, this does fall into the luxury cat gift category because we all know, automatic smart cat litter boxes aren’t cheap, but I definitely think this one is worth it if you’ve been saving up for one and want to surprise your cat and/or cat mom!
We’ve had our Leo’s Loo Too since before June of 2023 and it has been a game-changer when it comes to eliminating litter box odor and keeping our home clean. I actually did a full review where I talk about pricing, comparisons to other smart litter box brands and helpful cleaning info!
Read the post here: Leo’s Loo Too Review: Automatic Smart Cat Litter Box
The Leo’s Loo Too is currently priced at $649.99 but they often have sales, and as I’m writing this, it’s currently priced at $599.99 and they have other holiday deals. Of course, I can’t guarantee how long they will last, but it’s worth noting that they do have discounts! If you’re looking for the best deal, I personally recommend looking at the bundles where you can get accessories added, longer warranties and more. We got the Starter Bundle and love that we got extra bags and the litter box mat (it’s the best!).
Okay cat lovers, who’s excited to get some Christmas gifts for your cat?! Or, who’s excited to start shopping for a fellow cat mom? I personally love each and every one of these awesome cat Christmas gifts and hope that you all found one that meets your price points, needs/wants and makes you and your cat happy!
