Best Affordable Carpet Cleaner For Pets
The past few months with Annie have been filled with potty training accidents and stains from an upset tummy that luckily we have finally figured out. My parents of course have heard about everything and gifted me a carpet cleaner for my birthday. You know you’re an adult when you get a carpet cleaner for your birthday and you’re excited about it ha!
My parents purchased the Bissell Turboclean Powerbrush Pet Carpet Cleaner. I have always been a huge fan of Bissell products. One of my first adult purchases I made after college for my first apartment was a Bissell vacuum from Target and I still have it! I like Bissell because they create high quality products in a range of prices. My carpet cleaner and vacuum aren’t their most expensive products and they still do a great job which is why I wanted to share it with you today!

Great Price Point
One of the first things that I mentioned was this carpet cleaner’s affordability. The Bissell Turboclean Powerbrush Pet Carpet Cleaner is priced at $99.99, which is great compared to many others priced at over $200. You can purchase directly from their website or you can find it at a retailer by you like Target (what we did).
Easy To Use
This carpet cleaner comes with easy-to-use instructions on how to assemble and use all of the parts but there are a few key things I wanted to point out to make your experience effortless.

1. Before you use the carpet cleaner, make sure to vacuum every area you plan to clean beforehand. You want to get as little hair possible in the carpet cleaner because it’s honestly a little hard to get out.
2. After every use, make sure to dump out the dirty water and rinse/clean each part:
- The tank that holds the cleaner and water
- The collection tank that holds all of the dirty water
- The removable nozzle (the part with the red bristles) that can grab excess hair that was found).
Compact & Lightweight
This carpet cleaner has a max width of almost 10 inches (measured at the bottom of the collection tank) and weighs only 12 pounds, making storing this carpet cleaner easier than ever.
Carpet Cleaning Solutions
The Bissell carpet cleaner comes with a small bottle of their Professional Pet Eliminator + Oxy carpet formula cleaning solution. When my parents bought this carpet cleaner, they also bought me the 64 fl. oz. bottle of Hoover’s Paws and Claws Neutralize & Defend Carpet Cleaner Shampoo. After using both, I don’t think that one is a better urine cleaner or pet stain remover over the other. I honestly have liked both because they both have taken care of hard stains like urine, poop and vomit (I know, TMI ha!).
Both of these carpet cleaning solutions are also made for upright carpet cleaners like mine.
