Christmas Dog KONG Stuffing Recipe: Puppermint Bark

I love the holiday season! It’s filled with so many fun activities, joy and of course, tasty treats! This past year I’ve started making my own homemade dog treats and I wanted to create a ton of tasty holiday dog treats this Christmas!

Today’s post features my very own Christmas dog KONG stuffing recipe! I call it puppermint bark, named after the famous peppermint bark recipe. This KONG filler recipe has only five ingredients, two that can be optional, and it also doubles as a dog dental treat!

Kong Stuffing Recipe Ingredients:

The ingredients in this Christmas dog KONG filler recipe are:

• Strawberries
• Plain Greek Yogurt (no Xylitol)
• Fresh parsley
• ProDen PlaqueOff System™ Crunchy Dental Bites (optional)
• ProDen PlaqueOff System™ Dental Care Bones (optional)

Fun fact: Did you know that Parsley can actually help freshen your dog’s breath? Plus, it’s rich in a ton of vitamins! Whether you want to add the optional dog dental treats, this KONG filling is still great for freshening your dog’s breath!  

How To Make:

To make this healthy KONG stuffing recipe, grab a big bowl and stir all of the ingredients except the ProDen PlaqueOff System™ Dental Care Bones (if added). Next, grab your KONG classic’s and start stuffing!

Pro Tip: I like to grab a cupcake tin and set my KONG classic’s inside while I fill. This way, once they’re filled, I have somewhere to put them with the hole facing up so the KONG filling doesn’t come out!

I topped off my Christmas dog KONG stuffing recipe with the ProDen PlaqueOff System™ Dental Care Bones. Since I both of my dog’s KONG’s at the same time, I break a part one of the dog dental treats split it between the two!
