Dog Bone Broth Fresh Breath Dog Treats
About four years ago I discovered how to clean dog’s teeth naturally without brushing using my favorite natural dog teeth cleaner, ProDen PlaqueOff® Powder. To this day, this natural dog cleaner has removed the plaque and tartar off my dog’s teeth and it’s helped freshen my dog’s breath!
Then, about a year ago, I discovered dog bone broth from a company called Brutus Broth and learned all about it’s many benefits like joint support, liver detoxification and more!
Fast forward to today, I thought, why not combine both and make the ulti-mutt dog bone broth fresh breath dog treats using those two ingredients, plus a few more that aid in dental support, provide antioxidants and so much more!

Ingredients: Dog Bone Broth Fresh Breath Dog Treat
To make these delicious breath freshening joint support dog treats, you’ll need the following ingredients/tools:
- ProDen PlaqueOff® Powder
- Dog Bone Broth (I love all flavors of Brutus Broth)
- Fresh Parsley
- 1-2 Strawberries
- Any Silicone Mold (the one featured was a seasonal item from JoAnn’s, but you can find many more here!)
How To Make: Dog Bone Broth Fresh Breath Dog Treats
Before we get into making these joint support fresh breath dog treats, I wanted to share a few pro tips below so you have them before you make!
Pro Tip 1: If you plan on giving these to your dog the same day you make them, I would opt-out of putting their ProDen PlaqueOff® Powder in their meal that day so they don’t get more than they need per day.
Pro Tip 2: I highly recommend grabbing a baking pan/tray (I used a pizza tray since it was closest, ha!) to put your silicone molds on before building them. Once you add in the bone broth, things can get quite dicey on the way to the freezer #askmehowIknow (ha!). This will help ensure everything makes it there without making a huge mess!
Step 1: Chop up your strawberries into tiny pieces (size will vary depending on size of silicone mold chosen)
Step 2: Pull your parsley leaves off the stems (you can also pull apart into smaller pieces if you’d like!)
Step 3: Grab or mix up your Brutus Broth dog bone broth (if using powdered dog bone broth)
Note: They have many forms of their dog bone broth. Featured here is their powdered dog bone broth packets but I’ve also featured and used their dog bone broth cartons)
Step 4: Grab your silicone mold and add in your strawberry pieces and parsley.
Step 5: Sprinkle in your ProDen PlaqueOff® Powder throughout all of your mold.
Pro Tip: If you do plan on using this as your dog’s serving for the day, adjust how much you put into each treat. The size of your dog determines how much ProDen PlaqueOff® Powder they need as well as how much dog bone broth they should consume everyday. You don’t want to spread it out across a whole silicone mold if they only need 1/3 of it!
Step 6: Slowly pour in your Brutus Broth dog bone broth flavor of choice (you can even use a spoon here!)
Step 7: Freeze for 3-4 hours or overnight!
