Peanut Butter, Yogurt & Banana Homemade Dog Popsicle Recipe
Who loves making homemade dog popsicles? Homemade frozen dog treats are a great way to keep your dog cool in the summer while also adding some fun to their day! Diy dog popsicles are so easy to make, plus I love knowing what’s inside of the treats I’m feeding my dogs!
This homemade dog popsicle recipe has only three ingredients that you probably already have in your fridge and pantry. In this post, I’ll share how to make this peanut butter, yogurt & banana homemade dog popsicle recipe that you can serve all summer long!
Ingredient/Supply List:
Below is a list of everything you will need to make these tasty peanut butter, banana and yogurt homemade pupsicles!
- 1 Cup plain greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons of xylitol free peanut butter
- 1 banana
- 1 spoonful of honey (optional)
- Local honey is great to add to help with allergies!
- Popsicle silicone molds (linked the ones I used!)
- Baking Sheet
- Mixing spatula/spoon (used for baking)
How To Make:
Follow the steps below to make these homemade frozen dog treats!
Step 1: Mix all of the ingredients together
Grab your peanut butter, banana and yogurt and place into a medium size mixing bowl. From there, I use a fork to mash the banana and then mix everything else with a spoon.
If you have a blender, you can also put everything together and mix it up that way too!
Step 2: Place into popsicle silicone molds
Next, grab all of your popsicle silicone molds, I found these cute dog themed/paw print silicone molds from Amazon for under $10!
To help get all of the homemade pupsicle batter out of the bowl, I like to use a silicone baking spoon/spatula.
Step 3: Freeze for 2-3 hours (or overnight)
For this step, I recommend placing all of your filled popsicle silicone molds on a baking sheet to keep everything even and from spilling out (especially if you opted to blend it in a blender, turning it into a liquid).
These homemade pupsicles only take about 2-3 hours to freeze, but you can also make them the night before and let them stay in the freezer overnight! Once they’re frozen, I move them to an airtight container to keep in the freezer.
Step 4: Serve to your pups!
The best step of all…serve these homemade dog popsicles to your pups! What I love most about these homemade frozen dog treats, is that if you give them more than one, it’s not going to hurt them since the ingredients make so many!
