Wag Around Town Charmdana: Fun Personalized Dog Bandanas
Since Diesel was a puppy, he has always enjoyed wearing clothes. Dog costumes, dog bandanas, dog accessories, you name it! One of my favorite photos of him is from St. Patrick’s Day when he was around 5 months old, wearing this sequin green bow-tie I got him. He wore it so proudly! He knew he was handsome and to this day, whenever he wears anything, he knows it makes him look extra good, ha!
For the most part, my pups usually get dressed up for the holidays or special occasions, but I recently found one of the coolest personalized dog accessories ever that they have been wearing ever since I found it! About Wag Around Town
Wag Around Town actually made their big debut this year (2024) at the Global Pet Expo, one of the biggest events on the east coast for pet brands! Every year I attend this event and was able to meet this brand during one of my favorite PR company’s media tours.
The family behind Wag Around Town, Mindy and Katie, and their three pups Buck, Hachiko and Roxy, created their company and products when they wanted high-quality accessories for adventures with their pups.
Wag Around Town also works with many charities including Abandoned Dogs Of Everglades Rescue, Milo’s Dog Rescue, K9 for Warriors and more. They also have a goal to donate 50 of their dog travel mats by 2025 to military and working dogs. Every 5 mats equals one donation and they’ve already donated 12 so far this year (2024)!

Now let’s get into all of the fun details of the Charmdana personalized dog bandana!
Charmdana Dog Bandana Colors:
The Charmdana bandana for dogs comes in seven fun colors:
- Blue (light blue)
- Blue Wave (slightly darker blue with some white wisps in it, featured in this post)
- Pink (light pink)
- Seafoam (has some green wisps in it)
- Violet (has white wisps in it like blue wave, featured in this post)
- Orange
- Red
Charmdana Dog Bandana Sizing:
Now, let’s get into sizing! Currently the Charmdana dog bandana comes in three sizes: small, medium and large. Below is the sizing chart information directly from the Wag Around Town website for quick reference and then after that is information about my dogs and how their doggy bandanas fit them!
- Small: 10″-11,6″
- Medium: 11.3″-15.3″
- Large: 16.3″-23.2″
The dog bandana size that fit Diesel the best was the large. His neck measures 23″ inches around and he fits on the third to last hole. Just for reference too, Diesel is an XL breed at 103 pounds, and the fact that there’s still some room in the bandana makes me think it could fit other XL breeds too, but of course I would measure first and stay close to their size chart!
The dog bandana size that fit Annie the best was also the large but it is decently big on her. Annie’s neck measures 17″, she’s 67 pounds and is a very fit cattle dog/pointer/Aussie mix. So for her, the Charmdana can reach all the way to the end as you can see in the photos below (labeled as Large size). Since this one was a bit big, I wanted to try the medium, but the medium was way too small as you can see in the photos below (labeled as Medium size). It barely fits on the first hole and it kind of looks like a little bib on her (which is adorable, ha, but not comfortable at all).
When I spoke with the Wag Around Town team about the fit, they said that the medium was initially sized for dogs 30-45 pounds, which totally makes sense. However, they do think that the size may need adjusting so there could be some updates there, and if there are, I’ll definitely update this post so you have the latest info on sizing! I think it’s so amazing that they really care about their products, ensuring that everything is right and truly value the feedback given from their customers. To me, that’s an incredible brand!
Charmdana Durability & Material:
Moving on to the material of the Charmdana, this bandana for dogs is made of a rubber material that is very durable (so far so good!). The Charmdana is also a waterproof dog bandana and it’s super lightweight! The lightweight material is why I initially said that all my croc lovers will think this is great (in addition to the design of course!).
For anyone who’s ever worn Crocs, you know that they feel like you’re walking on air right? That’s how this bandana feels! It barely weighs anything, which means it’s not putting a lot of weight on your dog’s neck which is of course very important. Plus, the textured backing allows for a ton of air flow since you couldn’t fill every single hole with a charm.
Charmdana Dog Bandana Charms:
Now for the best part, the personalized dog bandana charms! Wag Around Town has created numerous plug in charms so you can create your own custom dog bandana that matches your pup’s personality! With every purchase of a Charmdana, you automatically get their branded Wag Around Town charm and then one of their fun and witty charms. You can get more charms to update your bandana as often as you want. Currently they have over 20 custom dog bandana charms to pick from and we have almost all of them (we’re kind of obsessed, ha!).
