3 Fruitables Dog Treats: Low Calorie Snacks For Dogs

I’m pretty confident that out of everything I review for my dog mom blog, the healthy dog treats I review and definitely my dogs favorite, ha!

A few years ago when I was still living in Jacksonville, and we only had Diesel, I visited either a TJ Maxx or a Home Goods to look at their dog section. Which, fun fact, if you’ve never seen the pet section at your local TJ Maxx or Home Goods, you’ve got to check it out! They have the best deals on dog toys and other pet items if you’re looking on a budget (or don’t always want to spend $20 for a plush toy that will be destroyed in .3 seconds like me, ha!).

In the treat aisle I found today’s healthy dog treat brand feature, Fruitables! After looking at their ingredients, I decided to try the Fruitables Pumpkin and Banana baked dog treats and Diesel (and now Annie!) have loved Fruitables dog treats ever since!

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing all about these three Fruitables Dog Treats:

Including the many delicious flavors they come in, information on calorie count, and more! If you’re looking for low calorie dog treats or grain free and wheat free dog treats, you’re going to love Fruitables dog treats!

Fruitables Baked Dog Treats: Pumpkin & Blueberry Dog Treats

Since the Fruitables baked dog treats are what I discovered first, let’s start there! I had shared that the first flavor Diesel tried (and loved!) were the Fruitables banana pumpkin baked dog treats. This time around, my dogs got to try the Fruitables pumpkin and blueberry dog treats and they absolutely loved them! One of my favorite things about Fruitables Dog Treats in general is that so many of their recipes include Pumpkin, which is naturally good for your dog’s digestion and can aid in diarrhea and constipation.

When you first open the bag, I kid you not, it smells like a bakery. I don’t eat many desserts or baked goods, but I have always LOVED blueberry muffins, and this bag smelled like a dozen are in the oven, and it was absolute heaven, ha!

Different from the other Fruitables dog treats featured in this post, these baked dog treats are crunchy dog treats, and can be easily broken up into smaller pieces. Plus, they’re also made with their Calorie Smart formula and only have 8 calories per treat, making these great low calorie snacks for dogs. These low calorie dog treats also come in many tasty flavor combinations like: Crispy Bacon & Apple, Pumpkin & Cranberry, Sweet Potato & Pecan and Pumpkin & Apple!

Fruitables Skinny Minis Dog Treats

The next Fruitables dog treats that we got to try were the Fruitables Skinny Minis. If you loved that the Fruitables baked dog treats were a low calorie snack for dogs, take a look at these! The Fruitables Skinny Minis dog treats have only 3 calories per treat, are grain free dog treats, and with their soft texture, these healthy soft dog treats make great healthy dog training treats. Plus, if you’re looking for dog treats for small dogs, these are the perfect size!

Since Diesel is such a big dog, I’m always trying to be careful with the amount of treats that I give him to keep his weight in check. With these, I don’t have to worry as much about giving him one or two because of the low calorie count and healthy ingredients!

We got to try the Fruitables Skinny Minis apple bacon dog treats, which is just one tasty flavor out of so many. Below are all of the flavor combinations of these low calorie snacks for dogs:

I think my dogs would honestly love all of the above, but I think their mouths would really water over the Grilled Bison and Rotisserie Chicken Fruitables Skinny Minis flavors!

Fruitables Yogos Dog Treats

The last Fruitables dog treats that we got to try are the Fruitables Yogos dog treats. These yogurt dog treats come in three flavors and are inspired by smoothies. Out of all of the Fruitables dog treats shared in this post, these are definitely the softest and will crumble a part in your hand with the slightest bit of pressure. They’re about the size of my thumb and look like mini roll-ups.

We got to try the Fruitables Yogos Yogurt & Coconut dog treats, and my dogs absolutely devoured them, ha! This flavor of Fruitables Yogos dog treats is made with coconut oil, which research shows, can aid in digestion, fighting off viruses, weight loss, bone health and more. You can learn more about “Is Coconut Oil Good For Dogs” in this article from AKC!

One way that I love to use the Fruitables Yogos dog treats, is as a crumbly topping on either my dog’s West Paw Toppl canine enrichment dog toy or in a KONG recipe. To me, it’s a great way to add a little extra something!

I also thought it would be helpful to show how all of the dog treats compare in size against each other. Below is a photo that includes the Fruitables Yogos, Fruitables Skinny Minis dog treats and the Fruitables baked treats (Skinny Minis are the smallest at the top of my hand, baked on the bottom left, Yogos on the bottom right).

I’m so excited that we got to try so many other flavors and treat types of Fruitables Dog Treats! I’m curious though, which Fruitables dog treat do you want to get for your dog first? The Fruitables baked dog treats, Fruitables Skinny Minis dog treats or the Fruitables Yogos dog treats? No matter what you decide, you can’t go wrong!
