3 Must-Have Products From DGS Pet Products
If you’re a dog owner, at one point you’ve searched on Google for house leaning tips for pet owners or wondered “how to keep a house clean with dogs?”. I know I have! Keeping a house clean with multiple dogs can be challenging at times, but with the right dog products, it’s totally doable!
One of my favorite dog brands for keeping a house clean with dogs is Dog Gone Smart (DGS) Pet Products! Their Dirty Dog product line is by far my favorite for brushing, bathing and keeping the mess contained! In this post, I’ll walk through my 3 must-have products from Dog Gone Smart Pet Products and the multiple ways these products can be used!
1. Dirty Dog Grooming Mitt
The first product from DGS Pet Products is the Dirty Dog Grooming Mitt! I love using this dog grooming mitt in three ways:
- Grooming your dog at home.
- I love taking my pups outside or on my porch and giving them a good brush! The rubber bristles are super soft and are great for getting loose hair off your dog!
- Wiping off slobber!
- This is honestly how I use this dog grooming mitt the most, ha! I wish I could say I mostly use it as a dog grooming tool, but with how much Diesel slobbers, which then gets on Annie, the microfiber pet towel side of this dog grooming tool helps me keep my pups clean!
- Horse Grooming Mitt.
- This dog grooming mitt also doubles as a horse grooming mitt! I’ve used this on both Pearl and Petri and it works pretty great! Plus, the soft microfiber pet towel side is also soft enough for sensitive areas.
I think she liked it, ha!
2. Dirty Dog Shammy Towel
The second product from DGS Pet Products is their Dirty Dog Shammy Towel. This super absorbent microfiber dog bath towel is not only great for bathing your dogs at home, but also drying your dog after a:
- Dog pool day
- Rain storm
- Trip to a dog-friendly beach
- Dock diving class
This dog drying towel features dual hand pockets (with the cutest paw print designs on them!) so you can move with your dog as you dry them off. Both my dogs move around like crazy whenever I dry them off, so the fact that this microfiber bath towel for dogs has these pockets is beyond helpful for me!
I’ve also brought this microfiber pet towel to the barn before and it was great for drying sensitive areas like the face, legs and belly.
3. Dirty Dog Doormat
The third helpful dog product from DGS Pet Products is their Dirty Dog Doormat! Out of the three products shared, the Dog Gone Smart Dirty Dog Doormat is one of the best for keeping a house clean with dogs. The Dirty Dog Doormat comes in many sizes and has many uses! Below is a quick breakdown of how I use the two sizes I own.
Dirty Dog Doormat Large Uses:
- Under my dog’s food and water bowls
- I always joke that when Diesel drinks out of the water bowl, he has a giant hole in his mouth because as soon as he lifts his head, so much pours right out, ha! Plus, every now and then he likes to dunk his whole face in there and that’s a whole new level of mess, ha! This microfiber dog doormat helps keep all of the mess in one place!
- By the door
- Using this dog doormat for muddy paws has been a life saver! I like to keep one by my door at all times so my dogs can wipe their paws on the dog doormat instead of on my clean floor. You can also pair this with your Dirty Dog Grooming Mitt and really clean your dog’s muddy paws
Dirty Dog Doormat Runner Uses:
If you’re trying to figure out how to keep your floors clean with dogs or how to keep your carpet clean with dogs, I recommend the Dirty Dog Doormat runner. The Dog Gone Smart Dirty Dog Runner covers more space and I actually have a handful of ways to use this helpful microfiber dog doormat!
- By your door/in your hallway
- I have my blue Dog Gone Smart Dirty Dog Doormat runner in my hallway when you first walk into our apartment so even after my pups walk in the door, they will take a handful of steps on this microfiber dog doormat before they’re actually on my carpet.
- In your car
- When I first shared this Instagram reel with 3 ways to use the Dirty Dog doormat runner, the most comments I received were on this particular idea! If you know you’re going somewhere where your pups will get wet, try putting the dirty dog runner on your backseat or floor! It’s soft and super absorbent microfiber dog towel material will be perfect for them to rest on while they dry, keeping your car clean and dry!
- In your bathroom for post-bath time drying
- If you like to practice “place” with your dog, here’s a great way to practice after bath time! I like to give my dogs a place to lay down and dry off so they don’t get on our furniture. The Dirty Dog Doormat runner is big enough for dogs of almost all sizes (Diesel is a 100lb. mastiff mix and he fits!) and is a great place for them to stay and dry off on!
I use these three helpful dog products from Dog Gone Smart Pet Products on a daily basis. They really are my go-to for keeping my house clean with multiple dogs. After looking at these three, which one would you use the most? The Dirty Dog Grooming Mitt, Dirty Dog Shammy Towel or Dirty Dog Doormat?! Tell me in the comments below!
I hope you loved learning about these helpful dog products and the many ways you can use them. I’m a firm believer that many products have more than one way to use them!
