Aquapaw Pet Bathing Tool Review

For the past five or so years, I have lived in an apartment and let me tell you, bathing your dog in a tub can be quite challenging sometimes. Especially with super big dogs like my boy Diesel! Most showers/bathtubs in apartments don’t come with a handheld shower head that you can unhook and move around. We’ve used cups before to make sure we got all the dirt and soap off Diesel, and even though that worked, we definitely needed an upgrade!

I am so excited to introduce my new favorite pet bathing tool, Aquapaw! This dog shower attachment has been a total game changer when it comes to washing my dogs at home. This two-in-one dog bathing glove has so many incredible features that make it more than just a dog shower attachment. In this post, featuring the Aquapaw Pro, I’ll walk through all of the awesome features that the Aquapaw Pro pet bathing tool has and some additional tips after using it!

How To Install

Before we get into the features, I wanted to share a quick blurb about how to install the Aquapaw Pro pet bathing tool. It’s super easy and takes less than five minutes! Inside of your Aquapaw box is a shower adapter. Simply unhook your current shower head and insert the shower adapter. Then, add your current showerhead at the end of the adapter.

Next, grab the hose end of the Aquapaw dog shower attachment and attach it to the other open side of the shower adapter. Once you’ve completed those steps, you’re ready to go! The adapter has a small switch on the side where you can easily go back and forth between the Aquapaw pet bathing tool and your actual shower head so you never have to take it off!

Pro tip: Make sure everything is screwed on tightly to prevent any leaks! I used pliers to tighten the shower adapter.

Feature 1: Water Volume Control

Now let’s talk about the awesome features the Aquapaw pet shower attachment has to offer! The first feature is being able to control the volume of water that comes out. At the top of the Aquapaw is a power button.

For a lighter, more gentle stream, click the button once. This is especially helpful for sensitive areas like your dog’s face. For a stronger stream, click the button twice. I use a stronger stream on areas like their back where their fur is thickest!

I was honestly quite impressed by how much water actually came out. I wasn’t sure what to expect since the last pet shower sprayer tool we tried had barely any water pressure. At both water volume levels, I was able to get all of the dirt and soap off without spending too much time in any area.

Feature 2: Long Nubs For Long Coats

The second feature is the long nubs that surround the water holes. This feature was honestly what sold me on Aquapaw! If you have a dog with a longer coat like my girl Annie, the long nubs on this dog bathing glove are so helpful for really getting into the coat, allowing you to remove all excess dirt and soap. The last thing you want is to leave any soap or dirt on their skin, as this could result in irritation and itching.

If you have a dog like Diesel who doesn’t have a super thick coat, the nubs are still really helpful in getting the dirt and soap off!

Pro Tip: After each use, I recommend rinsing off the side with the nubs because some dog hair will stay attached to the dog bathing glove. After we bathed Annie, there was a little bit of her hair stuck to it, ha!

Feature 3: 8 Ft. Hose & Garden Hose Adapter

The third feature is the 8 ft. hose. The length of the hose on this pet shower sprayer really comes in handy when having to maneuver around your dog to rinse off both sides of their body. Since this dog wash tool also comes with a garden hose adapter, it doubles for an outdoor dog shower too!

If you love bathing your dogs in the backyard, or love taking your dogs on trips, this dog wash hose attachment is super easy to use and can honestly be taken anywhere! Plus, the box also includes an international adapter as well.

I plan on trying this out with my mom’s Booster Bath outdoor dog wash station in place of the fan nozzle sprayer the next time we have bath time at her house. I think these two dog bathing tools would go so well together!

I’m so happy that I found the Aquapaw pet bathing tool. It has truly helped with washing my dogs at home and I highly recommend it to dog owners, especially those with longer-coat breeds like Labradors, Shepherds and more!

My dogs both loved the slow treater treat-dispensing lick mat with some peanut butter and their coats were so soft and their ears were nice and clean after using the cucumber melon dog shampoo and ear cleaner
