5+ Gift Ideas For Dogs
I love getting my dog’s Christmas presents every year! Last year Diesel actually helped unwrap his and it was the cutest thing ever. I have the video on my phone so I can always watch! If you’re someone who loves getting their dog’s gifts then you’re going to love these 5+ gift ideas for dogs!
In this post I talk through some of my dog’s favorite everyday products including our favorite canine enrichment dog puzzles, orthopedic dog beds and more that they love! I’ve also included a few products that I’d love to get for my dogs too!
1. Nina Ottosson Dog Puzzles
The first gift idea for dogs are the Nina Ottosson Dog Puzzles from Outward Hound! Over the past few years I have been learning so much about canine enrichment activities for dogs and if your dog gets bored easily, I highly recommend trying out some dog puzzles! Dog treat puzzles are a great way to prevent destructive behavior in dogs as well as prevent boredom in dogs. I’ve actually reviewed a handful of the Nina Ottosson beginner dog puzzles like the Wobble Bowl dog puzzle and Treat Tumble dog puzzle, plus a few more advanced dog puzzles like the Dog Brick dog puzzle and Tornado dog puzzle. Plus, a lot of these also double as slow feeder dog bowls! Check out my posts below:

2. Fi Dog Collar
The second gift idea for dogs is the Fi Smart Dog Collar. This dog gift is definitely on my wish list! This smart dog collar is SO cool and it has a ton of awesome features like:
- GPS tracking
- Activity monitoring
- Sleep tracking (new!!)
The Fi Smart Dog Collar is a bit expensive because not only are you buying the collar with the electronic equipment attached but you’re also purchasing the GPS plan (which is optional though!!).
Even though it’s a bit expensive, this smart dog collar is still on my wish list because I would love to be able to keep track of my dog’s fitness and connect with other members of the awesome Fi dog community!
3. Big Barker Orthopedic Dog Bed
The third gift idea for dogs is something my large dogs use each and everyday…their Big Barker Dog Bed! In my opinion, Big Barker is the best brand for orthopedic dog beds for large and extra large dogs. Made with their triple layer OrthoMedic foam, their orthopedic dog beds for large breeds provide incredible joint care for dogs.
Both my dogs love our Big Barker 7 Orthopedic dog bed and I’m hoping next year we’ll be able to add a second one to our home!

4. Dog Snuffle Mat
The fourth gift idea for dogs is another canine enrichment toy for dogs! Ever heard of a snuffle mat for dogs? Dog snuffle mats are designed to encouraging your dog to use their nose to find their food within the snuffle mat. I tried a super inexpensive amazon snuffle mat and my dogs love it! Not only are dog snuffle mats great for canine enrichment, but they, too, also double as a slow feeder dog bowl!
Check out my my full post on How To Use A Snuffle Mat For Dogs where I share a full review of our amazon snuffle mat, answer questions like “What is a dog snuffle mat?” and “What to put in a dog snuffle mat?” plus share a fun DIY snuffle mat from one of my favorite fellow dog bloggers!
5. KONG Classic and West Paw Toppls
KONG dog toys have always been a favorite in my house! I don’t think I’ve ever not had a KONG classic at least somewhere in our house ha! If you’ve never heard of the KONG classic, these dog toys are shaped like a cone and have a hole at the bottom where you can fill with your dog’s favorite treats. I’ve actually shared a handful of KONG stuffing recipes on my Instagram! Below are a few:
Similar to the KONG is a brand called West Paw! What’s really cool about West Paw is that their canine enrichment toys are eco-friendly! Their popular Toppl dog toy, Tux dog toy and Qwizl dog toy are all made of their ZogoFlex material which is made from recycled plastic! I love making fun tasty treats for my pups with my West Paw dog toys and I’ve actually created a really cool recipe! Check it out below:
6. Neater Pets Elevated Dog Feeder
The sixth gift idea for dogs is the Neater Pets elevated dog feeder. Elevated dog bowls for large dogs are especially helpful because they can help reduce the strain on their neck and hip joints. They are also great for keeping the mess off the floor!
Raised dog bowls have many other health benefits for dogs and I love that Neater Pets’ elevated dog feeders come in many different heights so you can pick the best option for your pup!
7. Plato Pet Treats
The last but certainly not least gift idea for dogs is Plato Pet Treats! Plato Pet Treats specializes in natural air dried dog treats made with wholesome ingredients. These dog treats are made in the USA, they have limited ingredients and they come in a ton of delicious treat types and flavor combinations! Plus, since they’re air dried, they have a ton of extra nutritional benefits compared to other treats!
From dried fish treats all the way to their brand new on the go dog energy bars, this healthy dog treat brand is my pups favorite! Plato Pet Treats are available at many local retailers like Chewy, Petco and more!

8. Lumabone Dog Chew Toys
Lumabone, the sister brand to Benebone, is one of my dog’s favorite dog chew toy brands! Diesel and Annie have both always loved chewing on bones, and once we discovered Lumabone, they were hooked! Lumabone has many long lasting dog bones in many shapes and scents like:
Scents:
- Beef
- Bacon
- Real Wood
Shapes:
- Bulkster
- Ring Stuffer
- Wishbone
- Dental Chew
- Stick
- Wag-n-Roll
What really drew me to Lumabone is the fact that their bones are available for large and extra large dogs like my two. The Lumabone Bulkster dog chew toy comes in two larger sizes that I’ve never seen before: Giant (for dogs under 120 lbs.) and Colossal (for dogs under 140 lbs.). Many dog chew toys aren’t made for dogs with those weight limits, so it really excited me to find something for all of the extra big dogs to enjoy!
9. Jolly Pets Active Outdoor Dog Toys
If you’re new to my blog, I am the biggest fan of Jolly Pets dog toys! Jolly Pets have some of the best outdoor dog toys and dog toys for destructive and aggressive chewers. They also have so many dog enrichment toys that are designed to provide mental stimulation for dogs by allowing them to tap into their natural instincts. Below are some of our favorite Jolly Pets dog toys:
- Jolly Pets Romp-N-Roll (Diesel’s favorite!)
- Jolly Egg Dog Toy
- Jolly Pets Soccer Ball (Another Diesel favorite)
- Jolly Pets Bounce-N-Play
- Jolly Pets Tug-N-Toss
- Jolly Pets Teaser Ball
- Jolly Pets Tuff Tosser (Diesel and Annie’s favorite, also doubles as a great slow feeder dog bowl)
- Jolly Pets Tug-A-Mal (Annie’s favorite!)
- Jolly Pets Jolly Dipper (Awesome dog enrichment toy!)
I’ve done multiple reviews on the Jolly Pets dog toys where I go into the sizing, different uses of the dog toys and more! You can find these reviews below:
