Gift Ideas For Horse Lovers
This time of year is filled with holiday barn parties and end of year celebrations and there’s nothing I love more than getting gifts for all of my horse loving friends! All of these equestrian gift ideas are great birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, secret Santa gifts for horse lovers and more!
This equestrian gift guide is primarily filled with small businesses. With this year being filled with so many ups and downs, our small equestrian businesses need our support now more than ever! Most of the items below have been featured on the blog or they’re products that I’ve heard great things about and am wanting to try myself!
1. The first item in my gift guide for horse lovers is Pull Your Pony’s Lead Ropes! I recently reviewed these hand-dyed cotton lead ropes on the blog. With so many different color combinations, and each lead rope individually dyed, these horse lead ropes are a great affordable custom present for horse lovers! 2. One gift that I have been thinking about trying for quite some time is the Cavali Club Horse Subscription box. I have seen so many amazing reviews and I love peeking at all the spoilers they share on the Cavali Club Instagram account prior to the boxes shipping out. The owner does such an amazing job at working with different equestrian companies that you might not have heard of otherwise! Cavali Club’s subscription sends out a box seasonally (4x a year) and once you’re a member you can also be added to their Facebook group where you can meet other equestrians and even swap items from inside your box! You can cancel anytime and if you would like to do a one time gift, they also offer a “Best of Box” too!
3. Throughout the past year, I have been trying a bunch of different grooming products, and one of my favorite brands is Myst Equine! Their Coat Elixir is one of my all-time faves! When it’s warmer, I always end bathing time with the Coat Elixir. You dilute a small amount into a bucket of water, sponge onto your horse and then sweat scrape off when you’re done and ta-da! Your horse’s coat will shine, stay healthy and prevent grunge! If you’ve been wanting to try it, I highly recommend!
4. Out of all the socks on their website, I had to go with these Horse Crazy Socks from Dreamers and Schemers! This pattern is always safe with any horse girl because let’s be honest, that’s us in a nutshell ha! Dreamers and Schemers have so many fun and creative equestrian boot sock patterns that will always fit a friend you know. Plus, they also have a custom sock section and with the pandemic, they have equestrian themed face masks too!
5. If you’re big fans of the Amateur Hour Equestrian Podcast or love “mom” on Instagram, then you already know Olivia, of Remarkable Leather Goods! This year, Olivia created her own leather halter and lead rope company, named after her mare, and from what I’ve seen the triple stitching detail and quality looks amazing! All products are made in the US with locally sourced leather and right now she’s offering a free name plate with any order with code “REMARKABLE”. The halter featured above is The Remarkable Original.
