Newbury Guest House Boston, Masschusetts
Last week I visited Boston, Massachusetts for the first time with Chandler and my incredible photographer Nikki! We saw a ton of fun and historical sights that I can’t wait to share in a second blog post.
If I had to pick my favorite part of the trip, it would definitely be our accommodations. We were very lucky to stay in the center of Boston on one of the most historic streets, Newbury Street at the Newbury Guest House. This boutique hotel is within walking distance to so many shops and restaurants as well as beautiful historic sights like The Boston Public Library.
When booking our stay, we were so fortunate to have met one of the managers at the hotel, Jaime. He was so incredibly kind and made sure that everything was set up for us, especially when we got to there. He ensured that our rooms were ready and in the best shape possible. This meant so much to us because we didn’t feel like “another guest” at the hotel. We felt like an actual friend staying there which was so kind!
When you first walk into the lobby area you are greeted with some snacks, a water machine that features hot, cold, room temperature and sparkling water as well as a variety of tea options. I was sold when he said sparkling water!
Chandler and I stayed in the Luxury Bay Window King Room. This room featured a king size bed, a gorgeous view of Newbury Street, a large bathroom, spacious closet and a nice seating area by the window where you could enjoy coffee, tea, or any other beverage.
I know Chandler and I can both attest to how comfortable the bed was! Even when we first got to the room, we took a short break before we did some sight-seeing and Chandler fell asleep moments after laying on the bed! If that doesn’t tell you how comfy it was then I don’t know what will! Ha!
The Newbury Guest House does such a great job at covering all of the little details that not every hotel has. One of my favorites being these soft and cozy embroidered robes. I even convinced Chandler to put one on! It really was so soft and I honestly didn’t want to take it off!
The next morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast that is served buffet style. The hotel is connected to a restaurant next door where you can enjoy a nice dinner at night and a yummy breakfast in the morning!

The buffet featured every breakfast favorite: eggs, sausage, potatoes, french toast, handmade croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, a cereal bar and a coffee bar!
In addition to the delicious food, the staff was constantly checking on the amount of breakfast items in each bin as well as the cleanliness of the area. If any spoon or tongs were messy in the slightest bit, someone was there to change and put out a fresh, clean set. To me, that was the icing on the cake for the best breakfast experience. This showed that they really cared about their guests having the best experience they could possibly have.
Below are photos from our actual breakfast as well as the full buffet options!
Last but not least, I have to share a photo of our view from our room. Since our room had three windows, we were able to see Newbury Street from every angle!
Chandler and I honestly can’t wait to visit the Newbury Guest Hotel again. The hospitality we were greeted with as well as the incredible experience that was created made this place our favorite part of our trip.
If you’re going on a trip to Boston, I highly recommend staying at the Newbury Guest House. With multiple room options for different budgets and guest sizes, as well as quick access to many other historic sights such as Acorn Street Harvard Yard, this place is the place to be!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me! I’d be more than happy to elaborate even further on our wonderful experience at the Newbury Guest House in Boston Massachusetts!
P.S. Don’t forget to enjoy yourself with a little guitar playing in the lobby and of course, write a nice message in their guest book!
