Kavalkade Vegan Cortica Dressage Bridle
I’ve been trying out many of Kavalkade’s products for both horse and rider. You may have seen my post about the Kavalkade Romulus Women’s English Paddock Boots (aka the comfiest women’s paddock boots!). Today’s post features one of Kavalkade’s newest products that is truly changing the equestrian industry. This product ranked #11 for innovative products at SPOGA, the largest equestrian tradeshow.
Let’s get to know Kavalkade’s Vegan Cortica Dressage Bridle!
What Is The Kavalkade Cortica Dressage Bridle Made Of?
The Kavalkade Cortica Dressage Bridle is made completely of cork! Kavalkade introduced their cork line with other products including boots!
What’s unique about using cork for a bridle and horse tack/products in general, is that unlike leather that stretches out over time, this material won’t! Cork leather is also tear-resistant, hard-wearing, water-resistant and it’s extremely soft (the entire bridle is super supple!).
Cork leather is naturally derived from cork oak trees, so no animals were harmed!
Kavalkade Cortica Dressage Bridle Special Features:
This Kavalkade black dressage bridle is available in sizes pony, cob and full and it has some really cool features including:
- Anatomical headpiece
- The entire bridle is super soft, but this part has a nice cushion that really gives that extra layer of comfort!
- Removable flash strap
- To remove the flash, all you have to do is unhook the small button on top of the nose band, pull it through and your flash is gone! Simply put the flash back through the center hole to reattach (detailed photos of how to do this are below).
- Beautiful browband with large rhinestones
- Decorative stripe along the noseband
The size featured in these photos is size full. I love that with this bridle you have the option to have a dressage bridle with a flash or a dressage bridle with no flash. You can also find the matching cork reins for this bridle too!
How To Clean The Kavalkade Cortica Dressage Bridle:
This Kavalkade dressage bridle is extremely easy to care for! All you have to do is wipe down with a damp cloth or sponge (not super wet) periodically after so many rides.
Since this bridle is so easy to take care of, won’t stretch over time, long lasting cork is definitely a great option to try!
I’m super excited to see how this vegan Kavalkade dressage bridle does! When I brought it to my barn, so many people were curious and excited about it, which made me even more excited too!
